Passionate about performance. Specialists in dancing, singing and acting for the stage for ages 3 to 18.
Over the past 40 years our director Claire Goodwin has shared the joy of performing with thousands of students and is extremely proud of the way the school has grown and progressed.
We are a totally inclusive musical theatre school in Winchester, giving everyone the same opportunities to perform without the stress and worry of exams.
Winchester Theatre Arts lessons cover all performing arts skills: Dance (Jazz, Tap, Street Dance and Ballet), singing, acting and performance. We also offer Pre-School Dance opportunities and One-to-One singing and ballet lessons.

Uniforms: Jazz Classes
All uniforms must be purchased from our in-house shop at The Studio, Kings Worthy. Uniform shop is open 9:00 – 12:00 on Saturdays during term time.
Jazz 1 – Jazz 3
Girls: Black leotard, black ballet shoes
Boys: WTA T-shirt, black shorts, black ankle socks, black ballet shoes.
Jazz 4 – Jazz 7
Girls: Black leotard, black tights, and black ballet shoes. If they have a ballet class immediately before or after jazz; black leotard with black footless tights or black leggings over pink ballet tights, black ballet shoes.
Boys: WTA T-shirt, black shorts or joggers, black ballet shoes
Jazz 8 – 11
Girls: Black leotard, black tights, black jazz shoes. For performances, heeled dance shoes are also required. If they have a ballet class immediately before or after jazz, they should wear a black leotard with black footless tights or black leggings over pink ballet tights, black ballet shoes and heeled dance shoes for performances.
Boys: WTA T-shirt, black joggers, black jazz shoes, black dance shoes (for performances).
